CHURCH SHARING AGREEMENT - 2011

Since 2010 The Anglican and Catholic communities in Padstow have been having detailed discussions regarding the possibility of sharing the Parish Church.

Agreement was reached and a "Church Sharing Agreement" came into force in November 2011

On All Saints Day 2011 the Catholic community had their final Mass in their church of "St. Petroc and St. Saviour" and on Saturday, November 5th the Blessed Sacrament was reserved by the Catholic community for the first time in a newly installed tabernacle in St. Petroc's Church.

On Monday, December 19th at 7.00 p.m. The Bishop of Plymouth (Catholic) and The Bishop of Truro (Anglican) will be with us to formally embrace the "Agreement".

This is the first "Church Sharing Agreement" between Catholic and Anglican in the Dioceses of Plymouth and Truro.

We pray that God will bless as we share the same building for acts of worship.
